With decades of leadership experience, I’ve learned that the most meaningful transformations begin with presence, courage, and connection.
As Director of Spiritual Care and Education at one of Manhattan’s leading academic medical centers, I lead a diverse, multi-faith team of chaplains who support patients, families, and staff through times of profound challenge. This work has honed my ability to navigate complexity while keeping the human spirit at the center of organizational life. From mentoring emerging leaders to overseeing budgets and strategic initiatives, I’ve built a reputation for blending clarity and accountability with empathy and vision.
My leadership philosophy is shaped by the principles of Presence-Based® Coachingandcourageous leadership: cultivating trust, fostering authenticity, and engaging in the kind of communication that transforms relationships and teams. I believe effective leadership is less about control and more about creating the conditions for people to flourish—through clarity, compassion, and courageous conversation.
An ordained Unitarian Universalist minister, I hold aMaster of Divinityfrom Union Theological Seminary in New York City, aMaster of Business Administrationfrom the State University of New York at Oswego, and a bachelor’s degree from Mount Holyoke College. I am also a Board-Certified Chaplain with the Spiritual Care Association, having completed four units of Clinical Pastoral Education at Johns Hopkins, Bellevue Hospital, and NYU Langone.
As anexecutive coach, I bring together the depth of my healthcare leadership experience with a grounded, presence-based approach to growth. I partner with leaders and organizations who want to strengthen cultures of courage, compassion, and sustainable impact—leaders ready to align who they are with how they lead.
